Stanley Bailey Jack No.5 – 50mm Replacement Blade

Designed for rapid stock removal when preparing timber prior to finishing. The machined frog and cutter seatings eliminate blade chatter. With unbreakable plastic handles and special cap iron design which curves shavings and prevents clogging. Length: 355mm (14″). Cutter width: 50mm (2″). Replacement plane iron (blade) is made from chrome carbon steel which has excellent edge retention characteristics and allows a razor sharp edge to be honed. Iron is fine rotary ground to give a flat surface that is easier to sharpen.
