Specialist Crafts – Stearin – 225g Tub.

Stearin makes candles more opaque and raises the melting point of wax so that candles do not bend or sag. It also improves the burning time and quality of finished candles. Do not use in conjunction with latex moulds.

Stearin can also be used in batik when designs require a crackled effect as it makes the wax more brittle, making it easier to achieve this effect.

For use with paraffin and beeswax only.
