Inktense is so named because of the intense colour effects you can get from these pencils to make artwork which looks like it’s been created using ink.

Pencils allow much more control than just using inks alone. The cores have a highly blendable texture and come in a range of 71 jewel-like colours. Apply pure, vibrant dry colour then wash the pigment out completely to leave an ink-like effect. Once dry, the colour is permanent and can be worked over with other media.

Inktense pencils can also be used on fabric to great effect.
