By releasing the button it allows the foot to remain level when starting to sew at the edge of a thick fabric. Once stitching has started the foot reverts back to its usual function of ‘riding the bumps’ and gripping the fabric.

For Brother Innov-is 20LE, 55FE and 350 machines.

Not compatible with the L14.
