These Permafresh Mats are impregnated with an active agent which prevents the growth of destructive bacteria, moulds, mildew and fungi. This means the mat will catch moisture, but when the surface dries it leaves no smell, thus making it ideal for use underneath water tables and water play activities, where it provides a safe non-slip base.
